She's Like A Black Pearl: CommArts No More

Wow. It's been six long boring days since I last put an entry here and I feel bad about making this blog stagnant. While writing this down, or typing this or whatever, I thought of making a VLog that supposedly will talk about the things that I'm gonna write here. But since I tried to take a short clip of myself talking in front of the cam and saw my fat face, I was like "Yuck!!" so I decided to go back to writing.

Speaking of writing, remember this rant post about my course? Yesterday, I made some research about the courses AB Journalism and AB Communication Arts and what are the schools/universities that offer these courses. I finally stuck with the idea of liking and pursuing CommArts since I liked the program's definition and its career opportunities. Also, I would like to finish two degrees if given a chance especially if the second degree would be related to writing. I guess studying again for four years wouldn't be a waste if you're really into that course that you took.

As a part of my research, I found out that UST and UE Caloocan do have CommArts. And UPLB too, but wtf, it's too far from here. I checked UST's tuition fee for the said course and fuck! It's P40K+. I also checked UEC's but there's no available page for the payments. I was thinking how the fuck I am going to pursue this dream if there aren't near schools here that offer cheap tuition fee for CommArts.

I tweeted about thinking to apply in a call center firm and enrolling the said course in an I-still-don't-know school/university and fortunately, Twin replied on that tweet to give her 100% support on my idea. She also suggested about me taking up crash course in creative writing so that I wouldn't spend more time and money. The ignorant kiddo I am, I asked her what crash course is and she explained it to me. Also, with all her patience and love for me, she searched for some workshops in creative writing via internet to help me.

I think I won't enroll for CommArts anymore and will just follow Twin's advice for convenience. Big thanks to her and to crash courses and workshops!
